Background of introduced GMMR Project in Libya

The introduced Great Man Made River(GMMR) Project in Libya by Dr. Jung-Kil Yoo Ph.d & PE has background joined as Project Manager belong to Dong Ah Construction Company in first package(Sarir to Brega area) of project between 1988 to 1990. Dong ah contracted the estimated cost of US $ 3300 million which include 7 years of construction period from 1984 to 1991 and length of pipeline is 1,874 Km. Total Projects have 4 packages from 1984 to 2009(25 years). Project operations comprise 3 companies in which Dong Ah Concrete Company fabricated Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe(PCCP) at Sarir and Brega conctete Factory, delivered pipes by Korea Express Transport Company to the construction site and installed pipes by Dong Ah construction Company.
